I do not watch a lot of TV. And if I do, I am extremely picky about what I waste my time with on the couch. And I have found quite a few shows in the past couple years on accident that are non-mainstream. For instance, Weeds. A show that was very underground, and now has gained quite the popularity, mainly because it is a great show.

The other night I was up late and just happened to be flipping the channels when I came across something on AMC. Normally from what I remembered, AMC is basically older movies. This though looked to be a modern drama series. I caught the end of the episode and vowed to wiki this show and find out more about it. I found out later that the way they have it setup, is brilliant.
The show is premiered each week on either Monday or Tuesday nights (check your local listings) and then it is immediately available OnDemand the next day. Genius really if you think about it. Makes people get more into a show, knowing that if they miss a premier episode, they can always catch it later. More shows should really take this idea and run with it. I have a feeling advertisers would love it.
Check out the Wiki for a breakdown of this great new show. Unfortunately though it looks like you might have to download the first episode, as that one is now down off the OnDemand.
